Blair Atholl Station interactive exhibition coming soon – save the date!

The final exhibition of our oral history project, Sharing our Past, Building our Future, will take place over the weekend from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th August, 2024 in Blair Atholl Village Hall.

Friday 16th, 7pm-8.30pm; Saturday 17th, 10am-4pm; Sunday 18th, 10am-4pm.

This will be your opportunity to see, hear, touch and engage with key aspects of Blair Atholl station history, from its beginnings in the 1860s and up to the present day. There will be specialist talks by experts on railway history, free refreshments and a children’s corner, as well as books for sale (including ‘Mike’s Station’, of course!).

So come along and see what we’ve been up to and tell us what you think we should do about the stationhouse building in the future.

With thanks to National Lottery Heritage Fund and Struan Trust for their financial help, and to all the many individuals and organisations that have shared their resources, time and energies on the oral history project, including Dunkeld Archives, Atholl Country Life Museum and Blair Castle Archives.

So remember to save the date and keep an eye on our social media for updates.
